Reptile Sand

Reptile Sand for reptiles is similar to the way cat litter is for cats. You have to clean or change it weekly to monthly depending on what kind of pet it is. Just as you would a cat box, scoop up any waste that they produce.

Reptile Sand includes both cheap and expensive options. Cheap sand would be play sand and good sand is calisand, it just depends on what you want to spend. Play sand is perfectly fine and very cheap. You can find it at any hardware store or online for around 5$ for a 50 lb. bag.

 With Reptile Sand whatever you do, do not use calcium sand, because it’s harmful to them if they swallow it. And it doesn’t have to be replaced every week just cleaned every week. But you do have to replace it every month. Playground sand works.
